Her recent projects include a remake of the film STEEL MAGNOLIAS which stars Queen Latifah, Phylicia Rashad, and Alfre Woodard; the HATFIELD’S AND McCOYS with Kevin Costner which won five Emmys, GIFTED HANDS for TNT starring Cuba Gooding Jr.; A RAISIN IN THE SUN for ABC, nominated for three Emmys and winner of the Humanitas Award, which starred the recent Broadway cast including Sean Combs and Phylicia Rashad; the JESSE STONE franchise for CBS which stars Tom Selleck; BROKEN TRAIL, a western which won four Emmy Awards including “Best Miniseries”; THE COMPANY a miniseries about the CIA which won the DGA and WGA awards; HAVING OUR SAY: The Delaney Sisters First 100 Years, which won both a Christopher and a Peabody award; THE BEACH BOYS: An American Family, nominated for an Emmy Award in the category of Best Miniseries; CALL ME CLAUS, a Christmas movie which starred Whoopi Goldberg and featured music by Garth Brooks. Prior to her work at Sony, Neisser held a number of positions at NBC including Vice President Movies and Miniseries for NBC Productions and Vice President of Family Programming where she oversaw special programming for children and families.  Notable Projects in the family programming area included the Emmy award winning, JIM HENSON’S THE STORYTELLER. Neisser received her bachelor’s degree with honors from Harvard-Radcliffe College.  She holds a master’s degree in elementary education from Lesley College and did further graduate work in Communication Arts at the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Neisser has served on several boards including the Harvard Board of Overseers for Harvard University; the Trustees Board of the Otis College of Design; the board of Planned Parenthood, Los Angeles; the Board of Trustees for The Center for Early Education; the Board of Trustees of The Archer School for Girls; and the Board of Governors of the Television Academy.  She currently sings with the Angel City Chorale. She is married to Ken Neisser. They currently live in Los Angeles and have two children, Nick and Alexis.
