It’s that time of the year! PANAFEST 2018, presented by the Panamanian International Film Festival in LA (PIFF/LA) and co-produced with Los Cortos and NewFilmmakers/LA, is a great way to spend all or some of your weekend. Network with filmmakers and celebrities. Enjoy outstanding films from the US, Panama and across the Americas and the Caribbean. Films are in English or sub-titled. There’s something for everyone — docs, comedy, fantasy, features, music, LGBTQ themes, immigration themes, animation, and more. Proud to feature work by a significant number of Latina Directors as well.

PANAFEST 2018 Highlights:
Saturday, 10/27, 12:30pm — Lunch and Learn For Filmmakers: Workshop hosted by SAG-AFTRA Workshop begins at 1pm. Interested in producing low-budget films and or New Media contracts? Learn how to do all that under a union contract. Tim Kuhl, Manager in Television and New Media and Lilliana Barzaga, Business Representative in Theatrical will conduct the workshop and answer questions independent producers may have. It’s at at LATC, Spring Street, Downtown LA.
