Lone Stars Entertainment Summer Jam Screenings

Industry Showcase Date: Sunday, July 21, 2019 6:00-9:00 p.m. Venue: The Offbeat Bar in Highland Park Free Event; 21+

Lone Stars Entertainment? is hosting an industry showcase event that honors and features those who have given their time and energy to help make the Lone Stars projects possible for the last two years.

Now? in its 7th year, Long Star Entertainment? is a production company, operated and owned by Latino filmmakers ?Gabriela López de Dennis? and ?Jeremiah Ocañas?. This filmmaking team has produced and placed diverse talent, both in front of and behind-the-camera, since day one. They invite any agents, producers, directors or networks interested in witnessing the phenomenal diverse talent that Los Angeles is currently thriving with.

The evening will include screenings of the trailers to the ?Ya Basta: Time’s Been Up? documentary and ?Are You Still There?, a? film now an official selection and nominee at the? 2019 Official Latino Film Festival’s ?Los Angeles Semi-Finals Screenings?.

In addition, there will be premiere screenings of the ?#HighlandPark (Season 2) episode, Where Did All The Color Go? and the pilot episodes of ?Café con Chisme?, a new digital series written by screenwriter ?Josefina López? (?Real Women Have Curves?).

The event will conclude with a premiere screening of the extended trailer to ?Breakin’ 2 America,? a new docu-series that follows b-boy ?Jimmy Chavarri?a, on a cross-country breaking tour, followed by a live b-boy breaking performance and battle which features Chavarria and his dance crew, with ?DJ Feel Good?. Indulge in gourmet appetizers by ?Chef Dawn, including jerk chicken skewers, and signature cocktails by ?The Offbeat Bar?. DJ for the evening is ?Mr. Ceezr?.

Lone Stars Entertainment? is an award-winning production company that produces original, thought-provoking and entertaining music, special events, web and film projects. By collaborating their various strengths and talents they create engaging content that motivates, inspires, and celebrate the human experience. They are now celebrating 7 years as a full-service entertainment company.
