With only four of television’s 504 series being spearheaded by Latinx women, these group of women are going against all odds. Powerful Latina showrunners Gloria Calderon Kellett (Executive Producer and Co-showrunner of One Day At A Time), Danielle Sanchez–Witzel (Executive Producer & Showrunner, 20th Century Fox TV) and Tanya Saracho (Creator/Showrunner/Executive Producer, Vida) gather to trade knowledge and insight on leading teams of creatives in the television industry. Through their stories and experience, these women aim to influence the emerging showrunners of tomorrow.
Diego Luna – Outstanding Achievement Award

NALIP is excited to announce this year’s Outstanding Achievement Award to Actor, Director, and Producer Diego Luna. His notable works includes directing the biopic, Cesar Chavez, to his role as Cassian Andor in Story Wars: Rogue One. Diego Luna has paved the way for future content creators of all backgrounds through his success in the multiple sectors of Hollywood and the international market. Don’t miss his special appearance at the NALIP Media Summit.
Isabela Boner – Lupe Ontiveros Award
Awarded to actors who break the mold for Latinx representation in the industry, this year’s Lupe Ontiveros Award will be presented to actress, Isabela Moner. Known for her starring role in Nickelodeon’s TV series, 100 Things to Do Before High School, and features in major films such as Transformers: The Last Knight , and Sicario: Day of the Soldado.
Gustavo Santaolalla – Lifetime Achievement Award

Through his various decades in the industry, film composer and producer, Gustavo Santaolalla cemented his influence on Hollywood productions. NALIP is honored to announce this year’s Lifetime Achievement Award to Gustavo Santaolalla. Through his magnificent work composing some of the most rememberable films like the Academy award-winning scores, Babel and Brokeback Mountain.
Cris Abrego – Industry Pioneer Award

NALIP is proud to announce this year’s Industry Pioneer Award to to Cris Abrego, Chairman of Endemol Shine Americas and CEO, Endemol Shine North America. His influential work includes Big Brother and MasterChef has shaped a whole generation and broke barriers on the architecture of reality television.
