Washington, D.C. – ZGS Communications was honored by the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) for Outstanding Service to the Latino Community. The distinction was bestowed upon the company at the 4th Annual Washington, D.C. Impact Awards Reception held at the National Association of Broadcasters’ headquarters. Ronald J. Gordon, CEO, accepted the award on ZGS’s behalf.
“ZGS is honored to receive this recognition from the National Hispanic Media Coalition, an organization that works tirelessly advocating for issues of diversity and inclusion in the media industry. The award is especially meaningful as our company celebrates its 30th anniversary,” commented Gordon.
NHMC’s Washington, D.C. Impact Awards Reception honors public servants and community leaders, as well as media professionals and entities, whose achievements, generosity of spirit, and courage under fire have greatly benefited the welfare of the nation in the areas of media and telecommunications.
“For 30 years, ZGS Communications has provided outstanding service to the Latino community. I am pleased to offer our thanks and recognition,” said NHMC President & CEO Alex Nogales.
FCC Commissioner Jessica Rosenworcel and Congressman Ben Ray Luján were also recognized at the reception receiving Impact Awards for Outstanding Public Service.
