Univision and POPSUGAR Partner to Launch Bilingual Podcast

Univision Communications Inc. announced the launch of “Juntos We Shine,” a new podcast sponsored by Target that showcases the stories of remarkable men and women who are committed to making a difference in their communities. “Juntos We Shine” marks the first time that POPSUGAR has teamed up with the Spanish-language media company for a podcast.

This 16-episode series will premiere on August 12 and be hosted by Univision’s Andrea Chediak, fashion reporter for Univision’s Despierta América. The series is being produced by Marisa Venegas, a three-time Emmy Award-winning television executive producer, writer, and multicultural media expert.

Each episode will be tied to themes from women in STEM to Hispanic Heritage Month and the December holiday season, and feature guests who are trailblazers in ways great and small, embracing life and those around them to help bring a better tomorrow. The series will be available across all popular podcast apps, as well as www.univision.com/juntosweshine.

Univision will promote “Juntos We Shine” across its media platforms, including on Despierta América, with custom integrations in the morning show, branded podcast awareness vignettes, primetime spots, as well as on digital and radio. It will also be cross-promoted on Univision and POPSUGAR’s social media channels, and via videos on POPSUGAR.

“Juntos We Shine” is a result of Univision and POPSUGAR’s long-term partnership which was first announced at Univision’s 2018 Upfront, and is part of a larger integrated 360-degree content and marketing program including native content, video and immersive features on POPSUGAR and extensive marketing support from POPSUGAR and Univision.

The series will be available across all popular podcast apps, as well as www.univision.com/juntosweshine.

The podcast, which premiered this week, will have a weekly release every Monday.
