Tom Holland and Alfred Molina Return in ‘Spider-Man: No Way Home’

The latest Spider-Man installment features the friendly neighborhood hero being publicly unmasked and unable to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a superhero. The film sees Tom Holland reprising his role as Spider-Man and the return of Alfred Molina as the supervillain Otto Octavius/Doctor Octopus.

Set for a Dec. 17 release this year, the film is executive produced by Argentina-born Victoria Alonso, one of the most powerful women in Hollywood who has also worked pretty much with every other superhero film of the Marvel Universe wheres she serves a executie VP of production at Marvel Studios. She has produced such hits as Iron Man, Iron Man 2, Thor and Captain America: The First Avenger among many.

In Spider-Man: No Way Home, Peter Parker, for the first time in the cinematic history of Spider-Man, is unmasked and no longer able to separate his normal life from the high-stakes of being a Super Hero. When he asks for help from Doctor Strange the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing him to discover what it truly means to be Spider-Man. However, the stakes become even more dangerous, forcing Spider-Man to discover the true meaning of being the superhero whose motto is “with great power, there must also come great responsibility.”

The film is directed by Jon Watts, who also helmed the previous two Spider-Man installments featuring Holland, too. The screenplay is by Chris McKenna and Eric Sommers, who also wrote the 2019 Spider-Man: Far from Home. The producers are Kevin Feige and Amy Pascal.

Joining Alonso in exec producing are Louis D’Esposito, JoAnn Perritano, Rachel O’Connor, Avi Arad and Matt Tolmach.
