Orlando FL — According to Nielsen, WTMO Telemundo Orlando has been rated the market’s #1 Spanish-language station. In Nielsen’s most recent survey, the station commanded the majority of the audience throughout the day. In sign-on to sign-off (M-Su 5a-2a), Telemundo Orlando delivered almost half of the Spanish-language audience in several key demos including Adults 18-34, 18-49 and 25-54, doubling its audience share from last year.
The station’s daily success was propelled by winning performance in all dayparts, but particularly in primetime and news. The station was the most viewed Spanish-language station in primetime (M-F 7-11pm), delivering almost twice the ratings of the competition. Telemundo Orlando commanded more than a 50% share of the viewing among Adults 18-34 and 25-54 with its nightly lineup. Caso Cerrado Edición Estelar, at 7pm, won not only Spanish television, but was #2 among all stations in the market, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34. Telemundo novelas, La Impostora at 8pm, En Otra Piel at 9pm and Camelia La Texana at 10pm, led in their respective timeslots with the majority of the Spanish-language audience among major demos.
Additionally, Telemundo Orlando is the #1 Spanish-language station in daytime (M-F 10am-4pm) and early fringe (M-F 4-6pm) among Adults 18-49 and 25-54. The station’s afternoon lineup was also #2 among all stations in the market, regardless of language, among Adults 18-34. Telemundo Orlando’s weekend programming (Sa-Su 7am-1am) led all Spanish television stations among major demos and was #1 on Sunday nights with La Voz Kids at 8pm, delivering more than half of the Spanish-language audience in major demos on a weekly basis.
