Los Angeles, CA – The Critically Acclaimed Kiki Melendez’s Hot Tamales Live is proud to announce that they have inked a deal with Ann Lopez, of Moving Target Productions and Jessy Terrero’s 123UnoDosTres channel to produce Hot Tamales Live 3 and 4, as well as a new brand of comedy, The Fried Bananas, a multicultural male version of the show.
The wildly successful show has delivered critically acclaimed great ratings, various awards, and will be shooting its new television specials this coming Saturday, May 12, 2012 at 6pm at the world famous Montalban Theater in the heart of Hollywood for the benefit of The Joy Foundation for children with special needs. Three one hour specials will be filmed.
The new Hot Tamales Live specials are a follow-up to the successful Kiki Melendez’s Hot Tamales Live! which aired on Showtime Networks.
The Hot Tamales Live is the longest running and possibly the only all female comedy stand up show in the world. It maintains a proven track record of launching new stars and showcasing women of all races on one stage. Past alumni’s of the talent showcase include: Eva Longoria, Loni Love, Thea Vidal, Monique Marvez, and many more.
Hot Tamales Live 3 will feature talent from New York to LA: Vanessa Hollingshead, Retha Jones, Helen Hong, Sharon Houston and Carla Collins and the Lucy and Ricky Salsa Show. Hot Tamales Live 4 will feature: Carlie and Doni, Ludo Vika, Kate Rigg, Sexy Marlo and Vickie Barbolak, with both Hot Tamales Live shows hosted by the fabulous Kiki Melendez.

In addition of to more Hot Tamales Live shows, viewers will also have the opportunity to be introduced to the highly anticipated male version of the show, The Fried Bananas.
The Fried Bananas will bring to the stage some of todays top multi-ethnic male stand up comics sprinkled with celebrities trying out their stand-up chops! Fried Bananas Live will be hosted by Joey Vega and will feature the comedy of KT Tatara, Ahmed Ahmed, Allan Stephan, Ruperto Vanderpool, Ron G and will introduce Lil Dougie Williams III.

Aside from Melendez, Terrero and Lopez, the projects will also have the honor of being produced by Raymond Hernandez Jr. and executive produced by Lynnette Ramirez from Moving Target, Concepcion Lara a key force behind the creation of HBO Ole, HBO en Espanol, The Fox Latin American Channel and Fox Kids Latin America, and David Albert Pierce from Latin Hollywood Films.
