Free Dramatic Reading of Enrique Castillo’s “Veteranos: 101” at LATC

Free Veteranos: 101 dramatic readings and music in conjunction with Latino Theater Company’s ‘Mexican Trilogy

September 14th at 8pm

Veteranos: 101, a dramatic reading with music and audio-visuals will be presented onstage by actor/musicians Sol Castillo and Karina Noelle, and actor/playwright Enriqué Castillo (SAG nominee for Showtime’s Weeds, Taylor Hackford’s Blood In Blood Out) as they will conduct a free, interactive presentation about the contributions of Latinos to America’s defense beginning with the American Revolution and up through the current conflicts in the Middle East. The “lesson” will feature dramatic readings from his play Veteranos: A Legacy of Valor as well as live music, projections and an audience Q&A.

Veteranos: 101 is presented by Latin Heat Media and the Latino Theater Company in conjunction with LTC’s currently running production of A Mexican Trilogy: An American Story, which portrays the Mexican-American immigrant experience through the eyes of one family over the course of 100 years.
