Antonio Favela of Telenoticias El Paso
El Paso, TX – ZGS Communications’ KTDO Telemundo 48 was recognized at the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences (NATAS) Lone Star Chapter’s 14th Annual Lone Star Emmy Awards. KTDO received a total of four Emmys on Saturday, October 15 at the Worthington Hotel in Ft. Worth, TX. For the fifth year in a row, Telenoticias El Paso, the station’s local news broadcast was honored for excellence in journalism and production.
Telenoticias El Paso’s Sports Anchor Antonio Favela received top honors in two categories: Human Interest – News Feature, Volando Sobre Ruedas, Reporter/Producer/Editor and Documentary and Documentary – Cultural/Historical, Prairie Dreams Children of San Eli”, Director/Producer/Editor along with Oscar Ortega, Photographer. Also, Alfredo Lopez, ZGS Communications, won his honor for Promotion – News Promo – Single Spot, Ten Years, Producer/Director/Camera Operator.
