Los Angeles, CA – Who is the man that puts the bling into Nuestra Belleza Latina? That would be Hollywood designer to the stars, Charlie Lapson, has been named the official Jeweler and Accessories Designer for Nuestra Belleza Latina (Our Latin Beauty) which premiered on Monday, March 3rd on the Univision Network. This 2½ hour event aired LIVE from Miami where the NBL contestants will reside throughout the competition that runs through May 19th. This is the first timeNuestra Belleza Latina brings a designer from Hollywood to style the contestants.
As the Official Jeweler and Accessory Designer for Nuestra Belleza Latina, Lapson will be creating original pieces for contestants to complement their swimwear and daytime fashions and beautify their gala attire by enhancing their glamour and style to complete their red carpet looks. In addition to styling the twelve Bellezas, Lapson will also be accessorizing the celebrity judges and hosts ChiquinquiráDelgado and Alejandra Espinoza.
Originating from New York City where he attended the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology and the School of Visual Arts, Charlie Lapson has made a name for himself in the Latino entertainment community after years of cultivating relationships with several Telenovela stars when he started designing for them in Miami. Lapson believes in “Fashion for everyone, of all the colorful backgrounds from around the world”. This philosophy has taken Lapson across continents with his designs and trunk show presentations.
