Los Angeles, CA — The Latino Writers Committee of the Writers Guild of America, West will be presenting a screening of Affluenza, written by WGAW member Antonio Macia. The screening will be on July 2nd at 7:30PM at the WGAW Multipurpose Room at 7000 W. Third Street, Los Angeles, CA 90048 and is open to the public. Affluenza is directed by Kevin Asch and is a loose adaptation of “The Great Gatsby”. The story is about an aspiring young photographer finds himself caught up in a heady world of money, sex, and privilege when he moves to wealthy Long Island in the summer of 2008. The film stars Ben Rosenfield, Nicola Peltz, Grant Gustin, and Gregg Sulkin. The film opens in theaters and on VOD July 11th.
