Hollywood Forever Celebrates Its 15th Annual Dia de los Muertos


Hollywood, CA — Hollywood Forever has announced Univision’s Jackie Guerrido and Rick Quintero are this year’s hosts for their 15th Annual Dia de los Muertos. Festivities will take place on Saturday, November 1st, 2014 from 12pm until 12am at Hollywood Forever located at 6000 Santa Monica Blvd, Los Angeles.  Tickets are now on sale at hollywoodforever.ticketfly.com

Award-winning entertainment journalist, television host and actress Jackie Guerrido is best known for her daily weather report on Univision’s Primer Impacto but her ability to connect with her audience is what makes her a star and a natural choice for this year’s hostess.  Joining Guerrido as co-host is local traffic reporter Rick Quintero.  Quintero can be seen giving the morning traffic report on Univision’s morning show Primera Edición and on Fox 11’s Good Day LA.  “I was honored to be asked to be part of Hollywood Forever’sDia de los Muertos Quinceañera.  I think Jackie and I make a great team and I look forward to co-hosting with her.”

The famed Hollywood Forever is a cemetery unlike any other in the world. One of the world’s most fascinating landmarks, Hollywood Forever Cemetery is the final resting place to more of Hollywood’s founders and stars than anywhere else on earth. In honor of its 15th year Dia de los Muertos celebration, Hollywood Forever has partnered with Quinceañera Magazine for this special anniversary and is offering a very special young lady the opportunity to win a dress for her upcoming quinceañera sponsored by Paradise Bridal.  In addition, Quinceañera Magazine will be holding a casting to select Miss Quinceañera Cover Girl for their next issue and partake in a Quinceañera Pageant Show.  All girls with an upcoming quinceañera are encouraged to participate by registering on-site at the Quinceañera Magazine booth.

It wouldn’t be a quinceañera celebration without performances by some of the top female music artists rocking the main stage including Carla Morrison, Gaby Moreno, La Santa Cecilia, Los Cenzontles and Mariachi Divas de Cindy Shea.  Main stage performances begin at sundown and continue throughout the night.
