“Tribute to the Beatles Festival 2015” Back Sept. 26 at Strawberry Fields


Beatle fans, and there are many, are getting ready for this coming September 26, 2015 when 18 acres at Pico Rivera’s Strawberry Fields located at 11003 Rooks Road centrally located in L.A. County off the 60 and the 605 freeways will be the site of the Tribute to the Beatles Festival 2015, the biggest Beatles Music Festival in Los Angeles is back!

Fred Zermeno, a 30 year producer, photojournalist, and past press secretary for the City of Los Angeles says this is his favorite band of all time and loves to bring Beatles fans together to enjoy all the great music all day long. “You can come and sing karaoke on stage, listen to great talent, learn more about the Beatles and watch some great live artists paint your favorite Beatles in action”, it’s a great event for the entire family, said Zermeno.

Music, merchandise, memorabilia, live artists, book signings, original Beatles photographers, a kids zone, live music with some of the best Beatles Tributes in California, a karaoke stage, a movie tent featuring a premiere of the movie ‘Beatles’, albums enlarged to 10×10 for photo opportunities, a Beatles food and beer garden and much more.

Recently, The Beatunes (original members from Paul Revere and the Raiders), Stephen Perkins (Janes Addition), The Fender Foundation, Hollywood Events Company, Chris Carter (Breakfast with the Beatles), Ledezma Music, Rickenbacker Guitar, Ernie Ball Strings and the film makers from Norway Storm Rosenberg with the movie ‘Beatles’ have come on board to join the historical Beatles Festival 2015. ‘Beatles’ movie will premiere at the festival.

The L.A. Beatles Festival has made its rounds to the Santa Monica Pier, the Long Beach Queen Mary and other locations with huge crowds supporting their favorite band of all time and is now


Gates open at 1:00PM on September 26.  The live music will begin at 3:00 PM with Britain’s Finest, Plastic Soul, Beatunes and a very special guest list that will jam with the Beatles Now which include Johnny Vatos, John Avila, Steve Bartek of Oingo Boingo, Mike Albert of Megadeth, Shenkar, Bianca, Christina, Juliette, Steve Perkins, Billy Bob Thornton and many others.

Zermeno is also gearing up for the 10th Annual Thanksgiving Dinner for the Troops at the Bob Hope USO which he has sponsored each year and will also be recognizing once again at the Beatles Festival. “The Bob Hope USO at LAX has been our charity of choice each year as they continue to stay open 7 days a week, 24 hours a day to assist the men and women in uniform with a home away from home. We are also working with the Lions Club for Vision, the Mark Daniel Music Foundation and the Fender Foundation for awareness”. Two hundred tickets will be donated to the men and women in uniform and their families via Pico Rivera Marines Corp.
