El Recluso centers around Lázaro Mendoza, a former marine who enters a maximum-security prison on the U.S.-Mexico border to investigate the abduction of the daughter of a prominent U.S. judge.  The cast stars Argentine actor Ignacio Serricchio (Lazaro Mendoza) and Mexican actress Ana Claudia Talancón (Frida).

“After a year in production, we were thrilled to share a sneak peek of El Recluso with our industry colleagues at NATPE,” said Marcos Santana, President, Telemundo Global Studios.

The El Recluso cast also includes Luis Felipe Tovar (Mariano Tavares), David Chocarro (Santito), Tiaré Scanda (Azucena Tavares), Guy Ecker (Judge John Morris) and Isabella Castillo (Linda Morris).  The series is produced by Inna Payán (Las 13 Esposas de Wilson Fernández, El Sueño de Iván, La Jaula de Oro, Hidalgo – La Historia Jamás Contada) Sebastián Ortega (Gigoló, El Extranjero, Fanny la Fan); and directed by Jorge Colón (Las 13 Esposas de Wilson Fernández, Sin Ella), Mariano Ardanaz (El Marginal, Abre tus Ojos) and Alfonso Pineda.
