Former Mexican assistant director Adrian Grunberg, who assisted Mel Gibson on the hit film Apocalypto and co-wrote and directed Get the Gringo also with Mel Gibson is directing Sylvester Stallone in Rambo 5: Last Blood.
Grunberg has also worked as a second unit director on several episodes of Narcos and was assistant director on Jack Reacher: Never Go back.
Stallone takes on the iconic Vietnam Vet John Rambo character one more time in this film that finds him living in anonymity on a ranch in Arizona in an attempt to live the quiet life. That all changes when a human trafficking ring starts to abduct young women and bring them across the border.
