Los Angeles, CA – Actor Ryan Guzman(Everybody Wants Some, The Boy Next Door) has joined the cast of Fox drama 9-1-1, as a new series regular for season 2. Guzman will play the role of a brave firefighter who join the firehouse led by Capt. Bobby Nash, played by actor Peter Krause(The Catch, Six Feet Under).
The 30-year-old actor, who starred opposite Jennifer Lopez in the feature The Boy Next Door, will star alongside series regulars Angela Bassett, Aisha Hinds,Rockmond Dunbar and Kenneth Choi. Actress Jennifer Love Hewitt will replace Connie Britton.
Directed by Bradley Buecker and exec produced by Alexis Martin Woodall, 9-1-1 explores the high-pressure experiences of police officers, paramedics and firefighters who are thrust into the most frightening, shocking and heart-stopping situations. These emergency responders must try to balance saving those who are at their most vulnerable with solving the problems in their own lives.
Guzman was born in Texas on September 21, 1987 to Lisa Hudson and Ray Guzman.He is also a model, and mixed martial arts fighter.
