Juanes, Jay Leno
Colombian rock star, Juanes, continues to surprise his fans with his newly released MTV Unplugged album—a tribute to his native roots. He introduced the album’s hit single, “La Señal” on The Tonight Show With Jay Leno On May 23rd and the song has shot up in the charts like a lightening rod!
Unplugged may have been released in February but it still has a few surprises in store including a song track with international singers, Joaquin Sabina and Juan Luis Guerra, where the music titans collaborated. According to latinmusic.about.com, the album marks its place as one of the best Latin music albums of the year.
The Latin Grammy Award-winning Juanes stopped on on the set of Extra where he announced to Mario Lopez that his worldwide tour starts at the end of August in Mexico. The Latin crooner will make his through Central America and more. Juanes also introduced his new favorite hobby, joining social networks like Twitter (@juanes) to stay in constant contact with his fans.
MTV Unplugged is Juanes’ third live album is on the Universal Music Latino label and produced by Juan Esteban Aristizábal and Juan Luis Guerra. Unplugged quickly shot to number one on Billboard Top Latin Albums and Latin Pop Albums.
