Lady Gaga & Robert Rodriguez Team Up For Machete Sequel
The upcoming thriller Machete Kills already combines a high profile cast which includes Mr. Machete himself Danny Trejo, with major Hollywood names including: Jessica Alba, Zoe Saldana, Sofia Vergara, Edward James Olmos, Cuba Gooding, Vanessa Hudgens, Demian Bichir, Charlie Sheen, Michelle Rodriguez, and Alexa Vega. Even Miss. San Antonio Amber Heard is on board! So why not add the biggest music sensation to the roster. That is exactly director Robert Rodriguez with the casting of Lady Gaga on his latest project. Gaga just finished shooting the role of “Lady Chameleon”.
Mother monster tweeted the news about her acting debut to her 27 million Twitter plus followers. “Yes its true, I will be making my debut as an actress in the amazing MACHETE KILLS BY @RODRIGUEZ,” Gaga tweeted. “IM SO EXCITED!!! AH! Filming was insane.” Rodriguez also could not contain how excited and immpressed he was, “She kicked SO MUCH ASS! Holy Smokes. Blown away,” he exclaimed.
Recruited by the U.S. government, Machete (Danny Trejo) is on a mission through Mexico to stop carte and take down an arms dealer with plans to launch a weapon into space. This will be the next installment in the trilogy to Rodriguez’s Machete franchise, the first premiered in 2012, set to release in theaters next year.
