The Latin Singer Is Set To Make His Debut With Universal Television
The Latin Superstar is known for his vibrant performances on stage where he connects with his fans, but now he is adding to his resume as a TV star. What can’t Ricky Martin do? The singer is set to develop and star in his first network television series with Universal Television along with a few TV specials. According to Universal TV EVP, Bela Bajaria, Ricky Martin is just as talented as he is popular considering his previous acting roles. Bajaria adds, “Whether he’s performing before sold-out concert crowds, or starring on Broadway, where he is currently playing to SRO in Evita, Ricky connects with his audience in a very palpable way — and we are thrilled that he will be adding TV star to his incredible resume.”
The star has been currently seen on Broadway for Evita as well as his other Broadway appearance, Les Miserables, and television appearance in General Hospital. Of course, we cannot forget his guest appearance on FOX’s Glee being no stranger to the music scene with his successful releases including “Livin’ La Vida Loca” and “She Bangs”. With all his success, his TV appearance with Universal Television is sure to not disappoint.
