Reynaldo Pacheco’s breakthrough milestone in his emotional portrayal of Eduardo Camacho in Warner Brothers Pictures’ “Our Brand is Crisis”

Bolivian actor Reynaldo Pacheco has been nominated for an Imagen Award for “Best Supporting Actor” in a feature film for his remarkable interpretation of Eddie Camacho in the Warner Brothers Pictures feature film “Our Brand is Crisis”, starring Academy Award winners Sandra Bullock and Billy Bob Thornton and produced by Academy Award winner George Clooney. The Imagen Foundation will be hosting its 31st Annual Imagen Awards on September 9th, 2016 to honor and recognize the entertainment industry for its creative excellence and the positive portrayals of Latinos in television and film in Hollywood. The awards ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills, California.
Pacheco has the honor of being nominated in the same category alongside great Latino talent including Lou Diamond Phillips and Rodrigo Santoro from the film The 33, and Edgar Ramírez who is nominated for his work in the movie Joy. Nominees in other categories include recognizable Latino actors from television and film such as Sofía Vergara, Jennifer López, Gael García Bernal, America Ferrera, Jencarlos Canela, J.M. Longoria, and director Patricia Riggen for the The 33.
The Imagen Awards are held annually with the purpose of celebrating Latino talent in Hollywood, a place where Reynaldo Pacheco is no stranger and an industry where he continues to have a very promising and successful artistic career. Pacheco recently had the opportunity to present the award for “Best Original Music” at the 2016 Premios Platinos in Puta del Este, Uruguay, which aired internationally on TNT, with over 600 million viewers in more than 60 Latin American countries and the United States. He also recently finished filming “A Force of Nature”, a short film directed by David Rodriguez, director Patricia Riggen’s prodigy, and produced by Edward Enriquez-Cohen and Pacheco, himself. Reynaldo is in development of two projects he’s written: the feature film “Almas Que Migran” and the pilot “The Cleaners,” which he created with fellow Bolivian actress and producer Carla Ortiz. After many years of hard work, Reynaldo Pacheco is excited and very grateful to be nominated for an Imagen Award.

Aside from his acting projects, Reynaldo Pacheco continues his music career and this coming October, he will release the official music video for his song “The Fall”, which was inspired by the film“Our Brand is Crisis.”
