PRSA & Hispanicize Digital to launch “Latino Social Media Insights Tour”

The Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is partnering with Hispanicize Digital to launch the “Latino Social Media Insights Tour,” a series of professional development breakfasts for PRSA Chapters nationwide that feature panels with Hispanic bloggers and expert presentations on current trends in Latino social media.

The national breakfast program kicks off this summer and is part of PRSA’s longstanding partnership with Hispanicize and its annual Latino trends event Hispanicize 2013.

With Hispanic buying power currently at $1 trillion and expected to grow to $1.5 trillion over the next five years (Nielsen), these breakfasts are a great way for Chapter members to gain important insights into the rapidly growing Hispanic marketplace and evolving consumer mindset.

“What worked even just two years ago in Hispanic marketing and PR may no longer apply because of the quick evolution of Hispanic social media,” said Manny Ruiz, co-founder of Hispanicize Digital and organizer of Hispanicize 2013.  “This program aims to answers key questions agencies and marketers are asking today about the evolution of Latino social media marketing and about how to work with Latino and multicultural bloggers, many of which will be part of this program.”

Program content is flexible and can be customized to each Chapter’s unique needs, based on local demographics and other factors.  The number of tour stops is limited, and will be available to PRSA Chapters on a first-come, first-served basis.

Interested PRSA Chapters should email Katherine Johnson at Katherine@hispanicize.com for more information.
