Los Angeles,  CA —  For the 12th consecutive year the National Hispanic Media Coalition (NHMC) held it’s annual NHMC Local Impact Awards Luncheon at the Hilton Universal City in Los Angeles last Thursday to honor Latinos in media.  FOX 11 news anchor Laura Diaz and CBS2 news anchor Rick Garcia, the event’s masters of ceremonies introduced this year’s seven honorees.

More than 200 industry leaders gathered to recognize local talent in Los Angeles — the second largest designated market area (DMA), and largest DMA by Latino population, in the country — for their outstanding achievements and contributions to the region’s Latino community.
