Production begins December 8th, 2012 on the live action sketch comedy and variety series pilot “The Vault” directed by Marquette Williams and starring a critically acclaimed ensemble of 9 performers created by Aaron Garcia and Fidel Gomez.
Los Angeles, CA – Greenhouse Studios, a privately owned production company, announces the pilot shooting of an audacious and hilarious comedy show called The Vault. The Vault parodies Los Angeles inner city culture and its eccentric residents in the light of breaking news events. The 9 performers forming The Vault Ensemble offer a timely but irreverent view of the absurdities of the modern world. Each episode of the show will consists of several pre-taped sketches starring the cast.
The Vault Ensemble
In January of 2010, a group of artists set out on a nine-week theatrical workshop, wherein they created an original 40-minute show every week. The Vault Ensemble was born. This experience brought together the 9 performers who form the multicultural and interdisciplinary Vault Ensemble, which became the resident comedy troupe of the Los Angeles Theatre Center. The cast includes Esperanza America, Brenda Banda, Stephen Buchanan, Aaron Garcia, Sam Golzari, Ted Lange IV, Jasmine Orpilla and Vicki Syal. The critically acclaimed ensemble created by Aaron Garcia and Fidel Gomez is followed by a tenacious and consistent audience who can’t get enough of this high-energy, genre-defying entertainment.
Greenhouse Studios is providing production and post-production services for the project. Red Studios, Otto Nemenz, Avatar Grip, Soleil Films, Filmmakers Alliance, and Los Angeles Theatre Center, are joining Greenhouse Studios in this endeavor.
