Los Angeles, CA– MundoFox today announced the March 18th network premiere of its new nightly karaoke-style music game show “Atrévete a Cantar,” the Spanish-language version of the hit game show “Who Dares, Sings!” Co-hosting the show are heartthrob and host of Puerto Rican Idol, Jaime Mayol, and popular Colombian singer/actress Marbelle, also known as the queen of tecnocarrilera music.
The show will air Monday through Friday at 8 pm ET/PT. “Atrévete a Cantar” is a unique karaoke style game show where 100 studio audience participants sing their hearts out together competing for the opportunity to win a cash prize of up to $5,000. In order to move up in the competition, they won’t have to convince a live panel of judges, but instead they will have to face SARA, a modern audio-analyzing supercomputer that assigns them each a score based on their ability to hit and hold the “hot notes” as close as possible to the original song.
