Machete back in theaters on October 4.
In Machete Kills, Danny Trejo returns as ex-federale agent Machte, who is recruited by the President of the United States for a mission which would be impossible for any motala mal – he must take down a madman revolutionary and an eccentric billioniaire arms dealer who have hatched a plan to spread war and anarchy across the planet.
The star studded cast, a credit to director Robert Rodriguez reputation of a actor’s director included Trejo and Michelle Rodriguez back for the sequel. Also on board are Sofia Vergara, Lady Gaga and introducing Carlos Estevez, AKA Charlie Sheen in his first role using his given birth name and playing the President of the Unites States. But the celebrity list doesn’t stop there, it goes on with Jessica Alba, Antonio Banderas, Demian Bichir, Alexa Vega, Mel Gibson, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Edward James Olmos in smaller roles.
From a screenplay by Kyle Ward and based on a story by Marcel Rodriguez and Robert Rodriguez, Machete Kills is the sequel to the 2010 hit film Machete – which has built a devoted legion of fans since its release – and is the second film in a trilogy. Machete Kill will be distributed by Open Road.
