Actor Mike Gomez will guest star as ‘Detective Nate Perez’ on this year’s seventeenth episode of the CBS series, Criminal Minds, which airs on Wednesday, March 21, 2012. 9:00 PM. In the episode entitled Foundation, written by Jim Clemente and directed by Demott Downs. Now in its seventh season, Criminal Minds stars Joe Mantegna, Thomas Gibson and, Paget Brewster.
Gomez’s previous television credits are extensive and include roles in Desperate Housewives, Bones, The Shield, My Own Worst Enemy, Shark, Bones, X-Files, American Family, Resurrection Blvd., among others. He was also cast as a series regular on the NBC series Hunter as Captian Gallardo on.
His feature credits include The Big Lebowski, Dance With Me, Heartbreak Ridge, Milagro Beanfield War, Born In East L.A., The Border, El Norte, Zoot Suit, The Patriot, Road Dogz and Luminarias.
A long time veteran of the entertainment industry, Gomez came to Hollywood’s attention with his role in the Los Angeles and Broadway production of Zoot Suit. He was also seen more recently in Selena: A Celebration of Life, Fathers & Sons, August 29th, Last Angry Brown Hat, The Imposter and A View From the Bridge among many others. His directing credits include Actors’ Diversity Showcases for the ABC and CBS Networks, Actors’ Showcases for Nosotros, along with theatre productions of The Last Angry Brown Hat and Macho Men & The Women Who Love Them’.
