Lin-Manuel Miranda Gets Quaky
Actor/playwright and composer Lin-Manuel Miranda, best known for his hit Broadway musical Hamilton, will be the voice of Gizmoduck, a Duckburg in Disney’s upcoming DuckTales series.
Miranda voice character’s true identity is Fenton Crackshell-Cabrera, an intern working for Scrooge McDuck’s personal mad scientist, Gyro Gearloose. The show is slated to premiere on Disney X this summer. Produced by Disney Television Animation, DuckTales has already been renewed for a second season.

Kate del Castillo can currently be seen as the action lead in Netflix’s Ingobernable where she plays the first lady of Mexico, a woman of conviction and ideals, who must uncover the truth when she loses faith in her husband. Accused of killing her husband, Urquiza is on the run confronted with having to dealing with government corruption during the first season 15 episodes which have been released in 198 countries.
Del Castillo has been called the Mexican Jason Bourne for her portrayal of the First Lady of Mexico, which is the Mexican first lady has been portrayed of TV.
Ingobernable premiered on Netflix on March 24, 2017 as the first Spanish language series on the network. The response has so good that the series has already been picked up by Netflix for a second season.
Del Castillo hit the talk show circuit both on English language and Spanish language TV promoting her new show. Already known as one of the biggest telenovela stars in Mexico, and here in the states she made a splash in the Spanish-language telenovela Reina del Sur produced by the Telemundo Network. However, mainstream audiences really got to her she took actor Sean Penn on a secret visit with the notorious drug leader El Chapo when last year. Her interview with Diane Sawyer and other mainsteam English language talk shows introduced her into many U.S. households.

Netflix has renewed the series for a second season which is scheduled to air in 2018.
