LatinHeat Media and LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes partner to present the inaugural LATINAFest: Mind, Body & Soul hosted by Emmy Award-winning TV host and actress

Fernanda Kelly. The festivities will be held at LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes located at 501 N. Main Street (Downtown) Los Angeles, CA 90012 in the outdoor courtyard and mainstage from 11am to 5pm.

LATINAFest will be a day of celebrating Latinas whose impact is evident in every sector of society. As the fastest growing consumer group in the U.S., Latinas are rapidly becoming economic and social powerhouses in the United States– whether it is in entertainment, education, politics, medicine, or academics, Latinas are rocking it!

“LA Plaza is happy to partner with LatinHeatMedia to present the first LATINAFest on our campus,” said John Echeveste, CEO LA Plaza de Cultura y Artes, “This is not only a celebration of the many important strides Latinas have made in all fields of endeavor, but a platform to provide opportunities, networking and encouragement for all Latinas to achieve personal and professional success.”

Brands are invited to connect face-to-face with Latina consumers who are the mindful decision makers when it comes to engaging with products, brands, and companies. Latinas also lead in entrepreneurship, and they will be well represented at LATINAFest.

At the center of the day’s activities will be a live taping of TheTRENDTALK TV Show, hosted and created by Bel Hernandez and Naibe Reynoso, who will interview guests before a live audience. TheTRENDTALK airs on the MEtv Network, which has a reach of over 4 million households in Los Angeles.

“As Latinas we are multi-faceted. We are entrepreneurs, mothers, students, consumers,” said Reynoso, “as producers of TheTRENDTalk, Bel and I felt we needed to expand the platforms for all Latinas to come together and be celebrated, and that is how LATINAFest was created.”

There will be a marketplace of vendors offering products, services and inspiration resources from a wide variety of interests, all focused on three of life’s most pivotal elements:

The Mind: A Live Taping of TheTRENDTalk TV show to Include Interviews with Trending and Inspirational Latinas, Meet and Greets with authors, Voter registration, Census Outreach, and Financial planning,

The Body: Interactive Health & Fitness stations, Self Defense Demos, Glam Booths (Clothing, Nails, Hair, Make-up, Skin, and Beauty Spas), Nutrition and homeopathy booths and more.

The Soul: Spoken Word Performance, Yoga Sessions, and Zen Zones, environmental awareness
