If you saw West Side Story (and what Latinx didn’t?) you saw the opus of the legendary choreographer/director, Jerome Robbins. But this landmark musical where he flawlessly incorporated jazz-ballet into the drama is only one of his many directorial and choreographic innovations. As Robbins would have been 100-years-old this year, Cincinnati’s College-Conservatory of Music (CCM) the nation’s oldest musical theatre program, celebrates his iconic career with a salute to his artistry featuring songs from West Side StoryOn the TownFiddler on the RoofCall Me MadamPeter PanThe King and IThe Pajama GameGypsy and more. Starring a cast of CCM’s top alumni from the past thirty-plus years including Pamela Myers (Company), Max Clayton (Bandstand), Lisa Howard (It Shoulda Been You), Blaine Krauss(The Great Comet) and Latina Cindy Marchionda (A Chorus Line). This Broadway hit parade is not to be missed. Plays Sunday, 22 April, 2018 at 7 & 9:30pm.

If you’re into oldies (and what Latinx isn’t?) you’ve probably seen the bio-musical Jersey Boys more often than you’ve seen your familia back in México, right? Right. Well, if you had the distinct pleasure of seeing the original cast and/or 2014 film adaptation, you heard the sterling voice of John Lloyd Young who portrayed the troubled and talented Frankie Valli, the kid who took the East Coast boy-band super-group, The Four Season, to the top of the charts throughout the 1960’s. Now a top draw throughout the world, Lloyd Young returns to Feinstein’s/54 Below by popular demand. The only American actor to date to have received a Lead Actor in a Musical Tony, Drama Desk, Outer Critics Circle and Theatre World Award for a Broadway debut, Young brings back some of the classic songs from his diverse repertoire and will debut new material. John’s beautiful tenor will fill the Feinstein stage at various dates and times from April 25th through May 5th (¡cinco de mayo!) of 2018.
