Go, San Antonio!
San Antonio, TX – KVDA Telemundo 60 is the only Spanish-language station in San Antonio to increase its primetime share of audience, according to the latest Nielsen survey. The station experienced a 79% book-to-book increase in share among the coveted demo of adults 18-49, while Univision’s KWEX decreased its share by 8%.
KVDA’s primetime growth was fueled by hit novelas Pasión Prohibida at 7pm and La Patrona at 8pm, with the station more than doubling its audience from the same time-period in November 2012. KVDA also delivered a 50% increase in ratings among adults 25-54 from the last survey.
“Telemundo’s powerful primetime programming block combined with our strong local presence has driven the audience growth,” said Eddie Romero, General Manager of KVDA Telemundo 60. “The station is extremely well-positioned to continue to deliver significant audiences to our advertisers not only in primetime but across all dayparts.”
