Triple congratulations to Julie Carmen. Last month she was invited to join the Academy of Motion Pictures Arts & Sciences in a record breaking year for diversity at AMPAS. Carmen also received a nomination for an Imagen Award for Best Supporting Actress in Dawn Patrol. And finally, Carmen has a new film boyfriend, Peter Fonda. The on-screen couple were were cast in the romantic comedy, You Can’t Say No, which is currently filming in the California Sonoma wine country.
The script revolves around Hank and Alexandra who are days from signing divorce papers, give their relationship one final shot by playing a game with only one rule: no matter what they ask each other to do, they can’t say no.
The film is directed by Paul Kramer from a script written by Hus Miller. The cast also includes Marguerite Moreau and Hamish Linkletter.
