Juan J. Frausto Wraps Production on “Possession Diaries”

Los Angeles based director Juan J. Frausto (Kidnapped Souls) has just completed principal photography on his latest directorial effort on Possession Diaries.  Described as Paranormal Activity meets The Exorcist,  the story follows Rebecca Clarkson, a young college girl, suffering from demonic attacks after playing with a Ouija board.  The film stars Johnny Ortiz (McFarland USA), Fernanda Romero (El Hotel, Line of Duty), Noel Guglielmi (The Fast and the Furious) and James Russo (Donnie Brasco).

Everyone knows playing with Ouija boards is dangerous, and Rebecca Clarkson is documenting the proof, as day by day a demon takes possession of her while a webcam audience watches. Will Rebecca be able to beat the Devil and protect her soul, or will she die, and lose her soul to hell fire?

Director Juan J. Frausto, Fernanda Romero and Executive Producer, Alex Palacios.

Johnny Ortiz who plays the role of Dante, the doubtful boyfriend, talked about his experience shooting the film, “This is my first horror movie and I love the premise. It is the reason I wanted to do the movie in the first place. It’s really a scary movie that deals with the devil himself”.

Possession Diaries was written by Frausto and produced through his Stroboscope Studios production company that also produced Kidnapped Souls that’s streaming via LatinHeatCinema. Frausto talked  about his latest film, “I’m hoping to create something different with practical effects and not rely heavily on computer effects. I dare you to watch this movie alone at night.”

The film is currently in post-production.  For more info check out their website
