Global Superstar Jennifer Lopez to Headlining at Planet Hollywood in Vegas

Las Vegas, NV — Jennifer Lopez has been conquering the entertainment business one section at a time. Starting off in film, she went on to create a frenzy in music, then made a major comeback (after a dip in her career) as a host for FOX’s American Idol. All this plus endorsement deals, fashion and health lines. So what is left to do? Vegas Baby! Confirming rumors that have been circling for months, Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino has landed on of the brightest superstars, Jennifer Lopez who announced on American Idol Season 14 finale that she will begin a Las Vegas headlining residency show beginning Wednesday, Jan. 20, 2016.
The spectacular show created just for the Vegas stage, Lopez will bring her star power to the resort’s AXIS Theater. Lopez is sure to be Vegas’ new must-see show.
“I’ve been preparing for this moment my entire life,” said Lopez. “The show is going to be a multifaceted high energy Jenny from the Block party, mixing all aspects of what my fans and I love – Dance, Hip Hop, Latin and Pop. It’s going to be the show I’ve always dreamt of creating.”
Tickets for the first 20 performances will go on sale to the public on Saturday, May 16 at 10 a.m. PT. American Express® Card Members can purchase tickets before the general public beginning Wednesday, May 13 at 10 a.m. PT through Friday, May 15 at 10 p.m. PT. An exclusive pre-sale for Total Rewards members, the loyalty program of Planet Hollywood’s parent company Caesars Entertainment, will also be available starting Friday, May 15 at 10 a.m. PT. The current performance schedule is as follows:
January 2016: 20, 22, 23, 27, 29, 30 February 2016: 3, 5, 6, 9 May 2016: 22, 25, 28, 29 June 2016: 1, 3, 4, 8, 11, 12
Tickets range in price from $59 to $219 (excluding service charges), with VIP packages available, including meet & greets with Lopez. All shows begin at 9 p.m.
