JLO Debuts Spanish-Language Album At Billboard Latin Music Awards

Los Angeles, CA- International star Jennifer Lopez will delight her fans when she performs on April 27th at Billboard Latin Music Awards, debuting her much anticipated, as yet untitled, all-Spanish album.

Lopez, who recently teamed up with former husband Marc Anthony to make this new album possible, will also receive the Telemundo Star Award which recognizes the achievements of a musical artist beyond their musical career.

“I am so excited and really looking forward to this new musical journey and to celebrate my Latin roots,” said Lopez in a statement.  The album marks Lopez’s first Spanish language album since 2007 which will released thru the Sony/Magus Media/Nuyorican label.

The multitalented artist, who in 1997 became the first Latina actress to earn $1 million for her portrayal of Tex Mex super star Selena in the biopic by the same name, has collaborated with artists such as Wisin y Yandel, Pitbull, Ricky Martin and Lin-Manuel Miranda in the past.


Also set to perform at this year’s Billboard Latin Music Awards are Daddy Yankee, Luis Fonsi, J BalvinGente de Zona, Zion y Lennox, and Alejandro Fernández.  Mexican actress Kate del Castillo and Carlos Ponce will be this year’s MC’s.

One of the most popular award show in the world of Latin music will broadcast live on Thursday, April 27 at 8 pm/7c from Miami, Florida on Telemundo and simultaneously on Universo.
