It’s been very quiet on the Jessica Alba front lately. It seems she has been busy being the best mother and wife she can be while running her baby products business The Honest Company. However, it is now known she has been moonlighting as a stripper (again) on co-directors Frank Miller and Robert Rodriguez latest Sin City installment, Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame for Kill For.
Rodriguez and Miller reunite to bring the visually stunningly Sin City graphic novels back to the screen in 3D and fans wait anxiously to continue the many adventures of familiar characters as well as some new ones in the new vignettes.
Jessica’s stripper character continues in “Nancy’s Last Dance” which follows Nancy Callahan (Alba) in the wake of John Hartigan’s (Bruce Willis) death. She will stop at nothing to get revenge and it turns ugly as she spirals downward. Its not a pretty picture.
“Just Another Saturday Night,” is the continuation of Marv’s (Mickey Rourke) story as he finds himself in the center of carnage trying to remember how he got there.
The tale “The Long, Bad Night” finds a cocky young gambler (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) on a winning streak taking his chances with the biggest bastard of them all, Senator Roark (Powers Boothe).
The central story, is Miller’s critically acclaimed “A Dame To Kill For,” which features Dwight McCarthy (Josh Brolin) facing his final confrontation with the woman of his dreams and his nightmares, Ava Lord (Eva Green). Frank Miller’s Sin City: A Dame for Kill For opens wide August 22.
