Houston, TX — Gerardo “Jerry” Vazquez has joined Noticiero Telemundo Houston as the VP of News. He will be responsible for the overall performance of the news department and any other local productions across multiple media platforms.
Vazquez served as Executive Producer for ABC KTRK-13 Houston for the past 13 years. Before that Vazquez was News Director for KMID-TV in Midland, Texas, where he helped the station climb to first place in audience viewership from fifth place. He is an award-winning journalist and a recipient of two Emmy awards
