Jackie Guerrido Award-winning entertainment journalist, actress and TV reporter of Univision’s Primer Impacto, became the first Latina to make an appearance on The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson, last week. This time around Guerrido was there to celebrate her birthday and to promote her upcoming role in AWOL 72.
Guerrido, wearing a show stopping black dress charmed Ferguson and the audience with her Latin flare and trademark humor.
Ferguson and Jackie talked about her native Puerto Rico “I want to go there with you” he said of her birthday celebration. Ferguson then gave Jackie a few “birthday gifts” which included two coconuts, a rusty trombone, a promo t-shirt and 50.00 dollars cash. “I’m going to wear the t-shirt on Primer Impacto” joked Guerrido.
Guerrido was there to promote her new film AWOL 72 which is directed by Christian Sesma and set to release on Netflix in November. She plays a detective in AWOL 72 which is directed by Christian Sesma. It is the story of an AWOL marine in possession of secret government information. Ferguson was especially interested on Jackie’s love scene she has with rapper REZA.

In addition to her work in entertainment Jackie contributes and lends her time to many charitable causes such as Casa Julia de Burgos in Puerto Rico- a shelter for abused women.
