Introduction to Film Production


Learn and familiarize yourself with the basics of filmmaking. This introductory level class is geared towards those who want to start producing their own film and video projects but aren’t completely familiar with the process. Whether you’re completely new to filmmaking or looking to switch over to producing, this crash course will provide you with the fundamentals of how to start making movies on your own.

Classes are taught by freelance independent film producer, Frances E. Chang, who has produced several short films and three features including Josefina Lopez’s micro-budget film Detained in the Desert.

WHEN:       Tuesdays at 7:30 to 9:30 pm – starting November 6, 2012 and ending December 11, 2012

WHERE:     CASA 0101, Studio Space –  2102 E. First St. Los Angeles, CA 90033.

HOW MUCH:  Classes are offered at $10 per person per class. Payment is due upon check-in before the beginning of each class. Cash only please!
