On the heels of the most successful HollyShorts Film Festival to date, with a record number of 349 projects show and over 15,000 people in attendance, the 2013 fest featured participation from such stars and filmmakers as Matthew Modine, Matt Libatique, Thomas Jane, and Chadwick Boseman. The 2014 HollyShorts Film Festival (August 14th-23rd) will feature a marquee opening night world premiere event at the world famous TCL Chinese Theatres, short film and feature film screenings, as well as industry panels and exclusive receptions and parties at the Roosevelt Hotel.
Submissions must be 30 minutes or less.
Categories include: live action, animation, documentary, student, webisode, music video, commercials, trailers, 3D, and new this year: Youth Shorts Competition sponsored by Latino Art Beat.
