HBO Licenses “Hate In America With Jorge Ramos”

HBO Also Licenses Ten-Episodes Series OutPost

New York, NY — HBO announced today that it has licensed two projects from Fusion, the multi-channel platform and joint venture between theDisney-ABC Television Group and Univision Communications, Outpost and Hate In America With Jorge Ramos.

HBO has acquired ten episodes of the half hour series Outpost which is a show that takes audiences through an immersive exploration of Latin America, offering authentic local perspectives on cultural idiosyncrasies, subcultures, environmental matters and adventure sports.

HBO has also licensed a one-hour special Hate In America With Jorge Ramos.  Ramos, who has been called the “Star newscaster of Hispanic TV” is an award-winning journalist who has been Univision’s top news anchor on Univision’s Noticiero Univision since 1986.  He is alos host of Fusion’s America with Jorge Ramos.  With a more timely twist to his original show, comes the one hour special Hate in America with Jorge Ramos. 

Ramos examines the state of hate in America, from white separatists to anti-immigrant activists, investigating why hatred seems to be growing and who is feeding it.
