Vamos a Bailar con HBO Latino when “El Caballero del la Salsa,” Gilberto Santa Rosa, celebrates 40 remarkable years with Gilberto Santa Rosa, 40… y contando. The salsa icon performs his greatest hits, such as “La Conciencia”, along with special guests to create an unforgettable concert experience.

August brings the return of Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cleveland Browns, where football fans will get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes look at the hard work, successes, and passion that goes into preparing for a new football season. Tune-in to Baker Mayfield, the number one pick from this year’s NFL draft, rookies, team veterans, and free agents as they try to prove they have what it takes to make the team and leave their mark on the NFL.


In a new season of the award-winning Insecure, being thirty, single, and thriving is the mantra for Issa and her friends. However, thriving is all relative as Issa continues to deal with issues in regards to her current living situation and securing a stable job. In season four of Ballers, Spencer and Joe venture from South Beach to Venice Beach in an attempt to expand their sports agency while tensions rise as the duo tirelessly work to cash-in on important deals.

Estreno highlights include Los Buscadores, where a teen who receives a treasure map as a gift from his grandfather, leads him on a thrilling, dramatic hunt for gold, and Taco Shop, starring Tyler Posey as Smokes, who works at a taco shop when a gourmet taco truck parks across the street, leading to a comedic battle to eliminate the competitor. In addition, the thriller La Palabra de Pablo follows a man and the relationship he has with his dysfunctional family, and Matar a Jesús, inspired by true events about a girl named Paula, who witnesses the murder of her father and seeks revenge by starting her own investigation. The Oscar®-winning Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri and Darkest Hour, starring Oscar®-winner Gary Oldman, make their way to HBO Latino this August.

Gilberto Santa Rosa, 40… y contando (September)— One of the greatest salsa legends of all time, Gilberto Santa Rosa takes us on a journey through his first 40 years of music, in this historic concert.

Original Programming Hard Knocks: Training Camp with the Cleveland Browns (08/07) — HBO Sports, NFL Films and the Cleveland Browns team up for an all-access look at what it takes to make it in the National Football League, as Hard Knocks kicks off its latest training-camp season this August.

Ballers (08/12) — Dwayne Johnson stars in an all-new season of the hit HBO comedy that explores the glamorous, and often cutthroat, world of pro football, as seen through a group of past and present players striving to stay in the game.

Insecure (08/12) — All-new season of the Golden Globe-nominated comedy from Issa Rae that follows the friendship of two black women as they deal with their own real-life flaws, while attempting to cope with uncomfortable everyday experiences.

The Deuce (09/09) — Season 2 of the gritty drama series from David Simon and George Pelecanos (The Wire, Treme) that traces the evolution of the porn industry in NYC’s Time Square in the 1970s.

Swiped: Hooking Up in the Digital Age (09/10) — An eye-opening look at the evolving nature of sex and dating in the digital age, told through the candid insights of 20-somethings from around the country, as well as interviews with experts and dating-app CEOs.

Estrenos* Los Buscadores/Gold Seekers (08/03) — A teen who receives a book from his grandfather that contains a treasure map embarks on an odyssey to find hidden gold. Tomas Arrendondo, Cecilia Torres, Christina Ferreira and Mario Tonanez star in this “entertaining and lively” (Hollywood Reporter) adventure. (Paraguay; Adventure)

Taco Shop (08/10) — Workers at a taco restaurant band together to fight back when a gourmet taco truck parks right across the street. (USA; Comedy)

Matar a Jesús/Killing Jesus (09/21) — A few months after witnessing the murder of her father, a vengeful young woman crosses paths with the man she believes to be his killer in director Laura Mora’s powerful, semi-autobiographical film. (Colombia; Drama)

La palabra de Pablo/Pablo’s Word (09/28) — An upper middle class Salvadoran family struggles with jealousy and revenge in this contemporary drama loosely inspired by Shakespeare’s ‘’Othello.’’ (El Salvador; Drama)

Short Films Mamartuile (08/01) — In this short film, an international conflict interrupts the president of Mexico’s imminent retirement. (Mexico; Comedy)

Valentina (08/01) — A fastidious maid’s duties are interrupted when her vagina comes to life in this surreal short film. (USA; Comedy)

Preach (09/01) — Ilia, a passionate feminist, preaches about gender equality while she waits for her blind date to arrive. But nothing can prepare her for the levels of equality her date preaches for. (Puerto Rico; Comedy)
