Miami, FL – Ninteen-time GRAMMY Award-winning producer and international entertainment legend Emilio Estefan, one of Miami’s most enduring statesmen, has been named the first recipient of the Hispanicize 2012 Latinovator Award for entrepreneurship. Hispanicize 2012 (http://www.HispanicizeEvent.com), the annual Latino trends event, will take place in Miami, April 10-13.
“Through the years Emilio and his lovely wife Gloria have come to embody everything that helps Latinos become crossover and international successes,” said Manny Ruiz, organizer and creative director of Hispanicize 2012. “Emilio represents the very essence of the pioneering spirit and innovation that Latinos need to grow and prosper in this new American century. Emilio is what Hispanicize 2012 is all about.”
The Latinovator Awards recognize Latino celebrities, business professionals and other achievers who have become crossover successes or whose stories of achievements are remarkable or inspirational.
In addition to Mr. Estefan, Hispanicize 2012 will soon be naming four additional recipients for this year’s Latinovators Award. Each of the five innovators will be presented with their awards individually in person at Hispanicize 2012 as part of special general sessions where they will talk about their obstacles and road to success. Mr. Estefan is slated to speak on Thursday, April 12.
