ABC Entertainment Group: Juan Jose Alfonso has joined as Vice President, Drama Development for ABC Studios.
ESPN programming executive Juan Jose Alfonso has been named VP Drama Development for ABC Studios. He will report to SVP Drama Development Michael McDonald. Alfonso comes from sister Disney company ESPN, where he was VP of Program Development, overseeing all international original content, including documentaries, scripted series, studio shows and web content. This included El Diez, ESPN International’s first-ever scripted series, as well as a number of documentary series, including Capitales del Fútbol, Heroicsand La Liga Confidencial.

Rosario “Charo” Santos-Concio
Rosario “Charo” Santos-Concio has joined as Chief Executive Officer.
Santos-Concio is a Filipina television executive, host, actress, and film producer who hosts the network’s longest-running drama anthology Maalaala Mo Kaya. She has joined ABS-CBN Entertainment as president, and plays a powerful role in TV and film production in the Philippines.
