Eva Longoria Joins FOX’s Brooklyn Nine-Nine For 3 Episodes

Season Two of Brooklyn Nine-Nine Premieres Sunday, Sept. 28 on FOX

Eva Longoria (Desperate Housewives) will be joining in on the fun on the set of Brooklyn Nine-Nine.  She is set to do a three episode arc in the hit FOX Golden Globe winning TV show. Longoria will play Sophia, a defense attorney who catches Jake’s (Andy Samberg) eye when she faces off against him in court.

Brooklyn Nine-Nine returns for season 2 beginning Sunday, Sept. 28 (8:30-9:00 PM ET/PT) on FOX.  With season one ending with Jake going undercover for a major FBI investigation. He said goodbye to the precinct, confessing his affection for Detective Amy Santiago (Melissa Fumero), the unit’s honorary straight arrow.  Stephanie Beatriz is also a stand out in as Detective Rosa Diaz.

Longoria joins other announced guest stars such as Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer), who is doing two episodes; former NFL wide receiver Terrell Owens, appearing as himself, and Jenny Slate (Parks and Recreation), who appears in the season premiere.

On film, Longoria will be seen this September 5th on Michael Berry’s Frontera where she stars alongside Michael Pena, Ed Harris and Amy Madigan .

Brooklyn Nine Nine is produced by Universal Television, 3 Arts Entertainment and Fremulon. The series is created and written by Dan Goor  and Michael Schur and is executive-produced by Goor, Schur and David Miner.
