Season one of The Awesomes en Español will be available on Hulu Monday, Nov. 17
Eugenio Derbez will lead a voice cast of Spanish speakers who will voice the same team of the not-so-super heroes characters in The Awesomes, co-created and written by Michael Shoemaker (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) and Seth Meyers (Late Night with Seth Meyers), in Spanish. After two successful seasons and a third season pick-up, Hulu will now offer season one of the hit animated series The Awesomes to audiences in Spanish. The Awesomes en Español will debut on Hulu on November 17th .
The voice talent are all from south of the border. Professor Doctor Awesome (Prock), the star and leader of the team will be voiced by Mexican actor, writer, director and producer Eugenio Derbez (Instructions Not Included). Derbez will be joined by the voices of Jesus Guzman (El Chavo Animado), Diana Bovio (Morir en Martes), Ricardo Polanco (Under the Salt, Niñas Mal), Daniel Tovar (Skimo, Niñas Mal), Valeria Vera (El Albergue), Alejandra Rodriguez (Once Ninos), and Alfonso Borbolla (Soy Tu Fan). Special guests include Alfonso Herrera (La Dictadura Perfecta, Obediencia Perfecta, El Diez, Terminales), Iliana Fox (Kilómetro 31, Sr Avila, Las Aparicio),Marisol Gasé (El Weso), Fernando Rovzar (Sr Avila, Casa De Mi Padre, Paramédicos), Billy Rovzar (Kilómetro 31, Casa De Mi Padre), and Adriana Bello (Dias De Gracia, Las Paredes Hablan).
Co-created and written by Michael Shoemaker (Late Night with Jimmy Fallon) and Seth Meyers (Late Night with Seth Meyers), The Awesomes is Hulu’s first-ever animated Original. Made for adults, the hit series combines the thrills of comic book storytelling with irreverent and inspired comedy.
Season three of The Awesomes will be available on Hulu in 2015.
