Noticias 62 Ranks #1 In Adults 18-49 And Adults 25-54 Among All Stations In Los Angeles For August 19 Telecast
Los Angeles, CA — For the first time since its launch Estrella TV’s Los Angeles flagship KRCA-TV has taken the top spot among all stations in the market – Spanish and English – for its 11pm newscast Noticias 62 in the all-important Adults 18-49 and Adults 25-54 demos.
For Adults 25-54, KRCA-TV achieved a double digit 1.4 rating, leading KABC-TV’s 1.2, Univision’s 0.9, Telemundo’s 0.8, KNBC-TV’s 0.7, KCBS-TV’s 0.4 and KTLA-TV’s (CW) 0.3.
KRCA-TV’s 11pm newscast also landed in the #1 spot in Los Angeles among Adults 18-49, garnering a 0.9 in the demo and tying with Univision for the top position. KNBC-TV, KABC-TV and Telemundo followed with a 0.6, with KCBS-TV and KTLA-TV bringing up the rear with a 0.2 and 0.1 respectively.
Estrella TV is a Spanish-language TV network launched in 2009, which produces original programs in-house featuring well-known stars and popular personalities from across Latin America, unlike the other top two Spanish-language network, who get most of their programming from Mexico or Latin America. Estrella TV is owned and operated by Liberman Broadcasting, Inc.
