El Velorio has steadily become the Dia De Los Muertos (Day of the Dead) Celebration you do not want to miss. Presented by Antonio Pelayo Productions , El Velorio is held in the heart of Lincoln Heights at Plaza de la Raza Cultural Center. This year’s celebration of El Velorio will be hosted by Melissa Santos (Lucha Underground) and will begin at 7pm goes for six fun filled hours of live bands (this year’s theme is Mariachi bands), Dia de Los Muertos-themed airbrush makeup, art show, Day of the Dead Alters, Food, dancing, DJ, Photo Booths and even a book signing with actor/author Enrique Castillo (Weeds, Blood In Blood Out).
