Los Angeles, CA- Academy Award nominee actor Edward James Olmos (Bladerunner 2049, Zoot Suit, Miami Vice) and actor Ryan Guzman (Step Up All In, The Boy Next Door) are starring in a father-son feature film drama Windows on the World currently filming in New York and Mexico.
The story, written by Robert Mailer and Zack Anderson is set around the aftermath of 9/11. After watching the news on 9/11 with family, Fernando (Guzman) travels from Mexico to NYC to find his father who was working on the top floor of the Twin Towers.
Michael D. Olmos (Filly Brown, Bedrooms), James Olmos’ son is directing a cast that in addition to Guzman and James Olmos includes Richard Cabral (Mayans MC, American Crime), Julie Carmen (Dawn Patrol, In the Mouth of Madness), Saundra Santiago (Blue Bloods), and Rene Auberjonois (Boston Legal).
Reynaldo Villalobos will be the DP and Mailer and Bicangelo Bulluck are producing.
James Olmos will be seen reprising his role of Gaff in the highly anticipated sequel Blade Runner 2049.
Guzman and James Olmos are both repped by CAA.
